Thanks you to ask this question,here is a simple answer for you.Not Medical Advice: The hallucinogen in nutmeg is called trimyristin. You need to do a simple distillation to extract this compound. Most commercial nutmegs contain many other things so eating it will not create a hallucinogenic effect.But if enough nutmeg is consumed, one can get hallucinate. You are supposed to ingest nutmeg, not smoke it. It can be dangerous.
