Thanks you to ask this question, here is a simple answer for you.Simply, fibrosis is a process that follows chronic inflammation. Fibrotic tissue is like a scar tissue, thick, and rigid, due to excess accumulation of protein below the skin. Here I think it is only for your reference and maybe not an answer you want or sometimes there could be a variety of answers for the same question. Continue to refer to the following information.

More about Fibrosis:

Fibrosis is the development of thick fibrous tissues in any organ or tissue. If fibrosis occur in skin then it is dermal fibrosis. This causes thickening and tightening of skin. There are many conditions which can cause dermal fibrosis like sclreroderma, Amyloidosis, Polymyositis, Peyronie’s disease, Carcinoid tumour, Morphoea, and Mixed connective tissue disease etc. If you are suspecting dermal fibrosis then visit a dermatologist.

What supplements treat dermal fibrosis?

The main thing to do is stop the flushing. I had to do that with a combination of diet (veggies and protein; no sugar) and drugs (Clonidine and Remeron). My dr also says that IPL can lessen the chances of developing rhynophyma.
