First of all,thanks for asking this question,I work it out and give you a simple answer.Not Medical Advice: You must not go to school if you have pneumonia. Rather, take medications and present your medical certificate upon getting back to school. Here I think it is for your reference and maybe not a correct answer or sometimes there are a variety of answers for the same question. So here are more information as below and it could be helpful.

No, pneumonia is a lung infection that can make you very sick. Get plenty of rest and sleep, and drink lots of liquids. But if you have to go to school or work and the symptoms of your pneumonia are mild,it is important that you should avoid coughing or sneezing on others and also should wash your hands carefully. In addition,it is a good idea that you should go to the doctor to see if your case of pneumonia is okay for you to work in.

How long should I stay home from school with Walking Pneumonia?

It depends on how far the pneumonia was worked itself into your system, your age, weight, and your body. Pneumonia is very serious, but if you have taken you antibiotics and are feeling better it should be ok for you to return to school.

Can you go to school with pneumonia that day after you start antibiotics?

First of all,if you have a community acquired pneumonia which is contagious and would risk people to infection,you should not even you start antibiotics. Secondly,when you are sick,you will need a plenty of rest for recovery,so it is wise not to go to school at that time.
